Our Birdie Care App

Peace of Mind...

Here at LACURA, we're proud to have partnered with Birdie Care - an innovative care management platform that enables us to digitally log, track and monitor the Care we provide.

Since the begining, LACURA has placed people at the center of everything it does. This enduring commitment is reflected in our dedication to delivering the highest quality care to our service users. To support this, we now use the Birdie app.

Birdie is a paperless system that enables us to digitally log the care we provide in real time, while also allowing family members to receive real-time updates about their loved ones.

The information uploaded to Birdie by our care teams is instantly available to us. Additionally, this information can be accessed by the family of the care recipient (if they opt in) via the Birdie Family App.

With its thoughtfully designed functionality, Birdie ensures that all information about the care your loved one receives is available instantly.

LACURA uses Birdie’s digital body maps to enhance care documentation. This feature allows caregivers to record and visualize any skin integrity issues, such as cuts, bruises, and pressure sores, in real time. Care notes, timestamps, and actions are centralised, facilitating quick evidence retrieval for audits.

Families can opt in to access these updates via the Birdie Family App, ensuring they stay informed about their loved ones’ care. The interactive tool provides precise detail, making it easy to address multiple concerns efficiently
